Zoo Rush
A serious game that teaches kids about managing sickle-cell anemia — disguised as an endless runner you actually want to play.
Zoo Rush started as a student project with a big goal: make managing a chronic illness feel like something a kid could master. The player runs endlessly, rounding up escaped zoo animals while keeping their character's energy and hydration in balance — the mechanics quietly mirror sickle-cell self-care.
What I built
- Core endless-runner loop & character controller in Unity.
- The health/resource system that ties gameplay to the teaching goal.
- Cross-platform build & store submission for iOS and Android.
